LEAP Africa with its joint collaborations with MacArthur Foundation and BudgIT Foundation has now announced its Call for Applications for the Youth Leadership Programme 2021. The announcement was made on 5^th November 2021.

About LEAP Africa Youth Leadership Programme

It is a four months blended leadership programme for the young students of Nigeria studying in undergraduate (young Nigerian undergraduates) program who are in age group of 18 to 30 years who has the passion for equipping and empowering themselves with the expertise, knowledge and resources needed to be transformative leaders and efficient citizens who will then drive sustainable development in their communities.

Stage 4: Screening and Mentorship

Stage 5: Change Project Pitch and Implementation

Eligibility Criteria for LEAP Africa Youth Leadership Programme

Undergraduate students (both male and female) in a tertiary institution situated in Nigeria are eligible.
The applicant needs to be in 18 to 30 years of age.
The applicant has to be committed to attending the training online and should be available for mentoring.
He or she has to be familiar with SDGs and curious about learning more deeply about them.
The applicant should be interested in volunteerism and other forms of active citizenship.
He or she should be quite keen to understand civic education, Governance in Nigeria and politics.
