Financial Benefits

Under this financial aid, the applicants are offered two parts of URS award funding:

URS Scholarship Stipend

The students will receive $1400 for 120 hours of research. The amount will be paid through financial aid.

They will receive first $700 at the commencement of their project and the rest of the amount i.e., $700 will be paid once all the four ending requirements are fulfilled.

Expense Money

It will be paid up to $300. You may find the detailed list given on the URS application to account for the supplies’ cost requested. The typical expenses covered may include compensation for human subjects, lab materials, travel to field sites (which will be above 50 miles away) and other costs.

Required Supporting Documents

The supporting documents are required by the admission committee. Thus, you need to provide the university with original or attested copies of the original academic documents which should be mailed in a sealed and stamped envelope directly to the university from your secondary school or examination board. The documents, sent as scanned and through electronic way, would be considered unofficial. Write a project proposal also.
