32 higher education institutions in Australia are participating in this scholarship program to provide eligible studies with allotted scholarships to domestic and international students. The studies will be delivered at 87 campuses of these universities/institutions. Funding Availability for Destination Australia 2024

For the 2024 round of this scholarship program, the funding of up to $15,000 per student, per year is available for approximately 550 domestic and international students starting their studies in 2024.

How Eligible Students Can Apply for the Destination Australia 2024 Scholarship (How to Apply for Destination Australia Scholarship)

Eligible students can apply for scholarships directly with successful education providers. To be eligible for a Destination Australia Scholarship, interested students have to meet the following criteria for the duration of their scholarship.

Start a new course of full-time study with an approved provider (higher education institution) in the academic year 2024.
The course needs to be one of the Australian Qualifications Framework levels from Certificate IV to PhD carrying a duration of 1 to 4 years.
Live in a regional area at the start of and during the period of study (according to the Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure).

For international students:

They need to maintain a valid student visa for themselves for the entire duration of their scholarship.
They should accept an offer of a full-time study program registered on CRICOS.
