Possess an unconditional admission offer for full-time study, or presently enrolled in a Masters by Research or PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) at the University of Sydney within the Faculty of Science.
Be all set and willing to do/undertake research in stem cell biology.
Possess a minimum one honors degree (first class) or Master’s degree with a substantial research component or its equivalent with your focus on disciplines related to molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology or biochemistry.

Note: If you have an unconditional offer of admission, you could apply and even be chosen, therefore, you will be offered no scholarship until you have an unconditional offer of admission.

Financial Benefits

Successful students will receive a stipend allowance which is equivalent to #29,507 per year (fixed rate), subject to satisfactory academic performance:

For Master’s by Research Recipient: Up to 1.75 years

For PhD Recipient: Up to 3 years

Note: International recipients could also be eligible for the Faculty of Science Research Tuition Fee Scholarship (subject to approval).
