Description of Internship

During this internship period, the interns will research and develop unique (innovative) ML strategies for challenging problems that will affect future Apple products. They will make collaborations with broader teams across Apple to transfer Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Solutions.

The interns will also get opportunities to provide technical mentorship and guidance and prepare technical reports for conference talks and publications. The interns will be self-motivated, go-getters, and excellent problem solvers. They will quickly build their relationships and work well with ambiguity and change. The interns will get strong programming skills with tried experience crafting, delivering sophisticated algorithmic solutions, and prototyping.

Key Qualifications of the Applicants

Under this Research Internship at Apple, the applicants need to fulfill the requirements of qualifications mentioned ahead.

They should possess deep knowledge in deep learning and statistical machine learning.
The applicants should have skills in one or more of these areas – Model compression and acceleration, neural architecture search, few-shot learning, optimization, weakly supervised & semi-supervised learning, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and 3D reconstruction.
The applicants should be equipped with outstanding programming skills in C/C++, Python, CUDA or other GPGPU will be considered a plus.
They need to be familiar with Pytorch or Tensorflow.
They should possess a strong publication record showcasing/demonstrating innovative research.
The applicants should possess good presentation skills.
They have to be quite passionate about building exceptional products.

Important Note: Interns should be committed for 6 months that is a preference. Staring time will be no later than March 2024.

Education and Experience of the Applicants
