All young professionals begin their journey and start their program in Washington D.C., where they are engaged in comprehensive training (in the classroom and on the job), learning leadership fundamentals and development operations happened in all institutions of the World Bank.

For last 50 years, both World Bank and IFC so far have taken onboard more than 1800 people from around 120 countries. These professionals range from new staff to the senior management of the World Bank.

As for the World Bank Young Professionals Program salary, the chosen candidates will be offered a competitive salary along with attractive benefits. A 5-year term contract will be signed with the candidate. Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants have to be 32 or younger (born on or after 1st October 1989).
  • They also need to meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by one of World Bank’s hiring institutions.
