Nomination Criteria for 2025 Tweed Sustainability Awards

The following is the nomination criteria that needs to be met if anyone would like to make a nomination.

Community groups, individuals, schools, not-for-profits, and businesses are eligible
The nominee has to live, be involved in projects, operate a business, and/or provide services in the Tweed Shire local government area
Previous nominees and winners of the sustainability award are encouraged to apply

These awards are open to all completed nominations for the Tweed Sustainability Awards

If all of the related information from the online nomination form is addressed, nominees can also be eligible for video entries

Prize Available for Nominees and Winners

All nominees:

Will be featured in the People’s Choice voting hosted on the website of the Council
Will be promoted in social media posts, media releases, Tweed links, and electronic newsletters of the Council
Will also be eligible for the random draw prize

Winners will receive:

Their choice of one of six options, including a nursery voucher, a professional photography package, an eco-cruise voucher, a bike energy assessment, a home energy assessment, and a farm health assessment.

Social media on the channels of the Council, showcasing their entries

On 8^th June 2025, the nominations opened for entries.
On 20^th July 2025, the period of nomination entries will close.
Voting for the People’s Choice will begin on 11^th August 2025 and close on 14^th September 2025
On 15^th October 2025, the winners will be announced at the awards celebration
